1. Central Park
Central park is a large public park in Manhattan, New York City. Its width 3,41 km² with its rectangle form. Every year there are about 25 billion people visit it, Central Park is one of the most well-known park in the world because this park is always used for the film shoots or being a material coverage on television.
This park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. Inside of the park, there’s an artificial lake, duck pond, two ice skating arenas, wildlife protected areas, lawns, and playground for children.
Every summer, the Public Theater team perform the drama show by Shakespeare, beside that there’s also music concert called Summerstage.
2. New York Times Square
Times Square is just a name for main crossroad in Manhattan. This crossroad is a place where Broadway street and Seventh Avenue meet, include West 42nd until West 47th districts. The district surrounding Times Square called Theatre District because there are so many broadway show billboards there.
Every new year, in One Times Square building always held the annual ceremony of Times Square Ball drops and at that time the people from all over the world come and gather around celebrate the new year’s eve, that’s why New York Times Square always called as a World Crossroad and also be a symbol of New York City.
3. Statue of Liberty
Statue of Liberty is a huge statue located in Liberty Island, New York Harbor. This statue was a gift from France to the United States in the end of 19th century as a gift of a hundred years of independence in America. Statue of Liberty is a welcome symbol to the tourist or immigrant who just landed in America.
This statue was inaugurated on October 28th 1886. The engraver of Liberty is Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and Gustave Eiffel, the one who designed Eiffel Tower. Statue of Liberty is one of the United States symbol and it symbolizes the independence and also freedom.
4. Empire State Building
Empire State Building is a skyscraper which has 102 floors in midtown Manhattan, New York City with Art Deco style. This building designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon in 1931. The name was came from sobriquet of New York county. Empire State Building is a second highest skyscraper in America after Willis Tower in Chicago.
If you want to take a trip to the Empire State Building, you can choose one package from two, the first one is trip until 86th floor, the second one until the last floor, 102. From up there, you can see how beautiful New York City is, you can see Hudson River, Statue of Liberty, and other magnificent views.
5. American Museum of Natural History
This museum is located in west side of Central Park, Manhattan. Inside of this museum, there are 45 permanent exhibition halls, planetarium, temporary exhibition space, and a library of natural history. In this museum, we will see the history of human, animals from all over the world, dinosaurs fossil, and evolution history.
This museum established in 1869 as a museum and also library based on constitution of New York county representatives. Theodore Roosevelt, Sr. is one of the American Museum of Natural History founder together with his partners.
